Romanian Laminated Wood Joinery LUCA in Paris
Custom Made Windows for Paris
The LUCA windows are made from laminated wood, using a 68mm thick profile tailored to meet the demanding requirements of the French market. The coplanar windows, typical in the Paris area, are equipped with:
- Cremon System: A locking mechanism that ensures enhanced efficiency and integrates seamlessly into the style of classic buildings.
- Classic Hinges: In tune with the locking system, ensuring stability and strength.
- Gura de Lup Closure: For added comfort and insulation.
Distinctive Features
The LUCA coplanar windows are designed to meet the unique specifications of Parisian buildings. The glass and frame (sash) are at the same level, offering a uniform and elegant appearance, suitable for classic facades and traditional architectural styles in France. This type of window respects the design of historical buildings, seamlessly integrating into the old or monumental facades of cities such as Paris, Bordeaux, or Lyon.

Custom-made joinery for Northern Europe, Scandinavia, and Northern Germany
LUCA has added LUCA IV 80 Scandinavian, windows with an 80 mm thick profile, outward-opening to its product portfolio for a project on the island of Sylt, in Northern Germany. This is one of the most expensive islands in the world, preferred by the wealthiest people in Germany. In 2009, the most expensive house in the world was sold here for 4.8 million euros, covering only 30 square meters. The houses have a thatched roof and are called “Waterkueken” (Duck).
In the Nordic countries of Europe, houses with thatched roofs often have windows that open outward for several reasons:
- Protection against rain and snow: In these regions, rain and snow can be frequent and abundant. By opening the windows outward, water is directed away from the interior of the house when the window is open. This helps to prevent water from entering inside and maintains a dry and comfortable indoor environment.

LUCA Joinery in Greece and Islands such as Paros and Samothraki
The LUCA joinery, produced in Romania, has reached the Greek islands this year for comprehensive projects of residential properties.
These were executed according to the area's specifications, from meranti wood suitable for the humid and warm climate, with blue shades, and regarding the products, the emphasis was placed on shutters and windows.
