Orthodox Christian Settlement (CBROM), Munich, Germany
One of LUCA’s most extensive projects in Europe was carried out at the Orthodox Christian Center of Munich – CBROM, completed after approximately 680 days of on-site work. Finalized in 2020, the project involved the delivery and integration of over 1,000 sqm of solid wood joinery and furniture, representing a landmark achievement within the company’s portfolio.
The joinery was manufactured from oak wood, selected for its durability, noble character, and compatibility with the architectural and spiritual nature of the complex. The windows were executed using the IVLUCA 68 profile, ensuring an optimal balance between traditional architectural expression and contemporary functional requirements. The project also included façade battens, decorative strips, and interior linings, all coherently integrated into the overall architectural concept.
A key component of the project was the custom-made solid wood furniture, designed and produced in full harmony with the building’s function and the aesthetic and functional demands of the interior spaces. Due to its scale, complexity, and symbolic significance, this project is regarded as likely the most important in LUCA’s portfolio.
