Curtea de Argeș Monastery, Romania
The project carried out at the Curtea de Argeș Monastery involved the replacement of the existing joinery, with the intervention conducted in strict respect of the historical and architectural value of the ensemble.
Oak wood windows were manufactured, featuring a two-tone finish, a solution chosen to preserve the balance between the traditional architectural expression of the façades and contemporary aesthetic requirements. The windows are complemented by applied cremone hardware, used as a decorative element in harmony with the building’s architectural language.
From a technical standpoint, the windows were produced using 52 mm profiles, fitted with 20 mm insulating glass units, providing an appropriate level of thermal comfort while preserving the proportions and characteristic details of the historic structure.
