Residential project in Sylt Island, Germany
For an exclusive project on Sylt Island – one of the most prestigious and expensive residential destinations in Europe – LUCA introduced the new LUCA IV 80 Scandinavia profile, designed for laminated wood windows with reverse outward opening, specific to Nordic architectural style.
The windows are equipped with a 36 mm thick insulated glass unit, optimized for the Nordic climate. This type of outward opening is widely used in Nordic countries, Scandinavia, and Northern Germany, due to its practical and traditional advantages: enhanced protection against weather conditions, higher wind resistance, and alignment with the local architectural style.
For this project, LUCA purchased and adapted special milling tools for the execution of Scandinavian windows, thus consolidating the integration of the IV 80 Scandinavia profile into the LUCA window range.
